Why I am a Bankruptcy Attorney.

Banks only care about one thing, profits. They do not care if we lose our homes or cars to repossession. All they care about is profits. They are in the business of making money for their shareholders, nothing more. When we continue to pay on debts that will never be paid off, or debts that have been repaid twice or three times over before the interest and penalties are added, we are no longer part of the free market and the system is damaged. Thankfully the law gives us the right to fight back. We can file a Voluntary Petition declaring bankruptcy and I am blessed with the privilege to be your champion. When I obtain a discharge injunction for you, and I have a money back guarantee that says I will, then I have protected the system by leveling the playing field between the big guys and the little guys.
This is why I fight for you as a bankruptcy attorney.

Choosing the right Tucson bankruptcy attorney is as important as the decision to file bankruptcy itself. I have been practicing law in Tucson for over 33 years and have helped thousands of people like you get a fresh start.

Choosing the right Tucson bankruptcy attorney is as important as the decision to file bankruptcy itself. I have been practicing law in Tucson for over 33 years and have helped thousands of people like you get a fresh start.

Results.

I have filed thousands of cases. All of my clients have received a discharge injunction and obtained the fresh start they desired.

Satisfied clients.

What I say about myself and my firm is far less important than what my clients think. View my excellent Avvo reviews to get a sense of how my clients feel about my abilities, professionalism and commitment to achieving a positive outcome for them. I also have excellent reviews on Google+, Yelp, Yahoo and others.

My abilities have been recognized many times.

Avvo is a source that rates attorneys; my rating is “Superb”. I also have an “A+” rating at the Better Business Bureau. I have been voted one of the best attorneys in the valley by North Valley Magazine (October 12, 2013), and have lead seminars for other bankruptcy attorneys on various bankruptcy topics.

Our clients refer their friends and family to us.

When consumers have a good experience with any business they refer their friends and family to that business. My law firm is just like any other type of business so we work hard to make sure our clients have a superior experience with us. The feedback we routinely receive from our clients is very positive and our statistics indicate that our referral business is strong so we must be doing it right.

I started practicing law in Tucson, AZ in 1992.

I was a Judge Pro Temp and presided over civil cases like debt collection matters and breach of contract cases in the Pima County Consolidated Justice Court. I have been the President of the Tucson Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys from 2010 – 2016. In bankruptcy proceedings, experience counts, and I have a long history of achieving results for my clients in the Tucson courts.

My emphasis is on bankruptcy law.

The overwhelming majority of our cases are either Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Usually, if we are handling anything different it is because one of our previously satisfied bankruptcy clients insists that we represent them in a different matter.

I am a seasoned litigator.

I have handled more than 50 jury trials and more than 250 evidentiary hearings. I also argued a case of first impression in Arizona in 2011. That means that the issue had never been litigated before. The case is called In Re Thiem which resulted in a big victory for my client and every debtor in Arizona in a similar situation. In a nut shell the case holds that an inherited IRA is exempt from attachment in Arizona so my client was able to keep it even though she filed a bankruptcy petition.

I don’t play games during the initial phone call.

To my knowledge I am the only bankruptcy attorney who publishes the fee schedule. Click here to see our fees.

We answer the phone.

We don’t use voice mail during business hours. You will talk to someone who can possibly answer most of your questions even if they are not an attorney. Many times, our clients have questions about procedure and my staff is trained to answer these questions. We keep diligent notes in our computer about every case so anyone on my staff will be able to talk to you about where your case has been, where it is now and where it is going.

We start our appointments on time.

The way I see it, an appointment is an agreement and we strive to keep all our agreements.
